Coil preparation station
Easy and safe removal of a sample of a coil is possible through using our coil preparation station.
The station has a capacity for 40 t coils and is equipped with two coated rolls. The rolls are driven by an AC-motor and chain drive. By using a foot-switch the coil will rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise. Afterwards the operator can cut out a sample.
Additionally the coil can be re-strapped.
The coil preparation station can be placed in the area of the coil storage and does not need to be fixed on shop floor.
Tilting of a small coil is prevented by manual plug-in profile rods.
